Case Study: Stunning Cape-Inspired Game Room
Designed for Lamb & Co. Design | Professional Photography by Erica Wall Photography
Today we will look through the process of creating this beautiful game room in Snohomish for clients S & L!
When I started working with S & L, they had no idea where to start on furnishing the entirety of their new home. It needed a few updates here and there, and they didn’t have the time to source furnishings themselves. They wanted their home to feel polished, uniquely them, and upscale now that their kids are grown (but not quite moved out). They love calm nights in with family.
Let’s take a look at what we started with:
Not a show-stopper, but there is lots of potential!
However, this space was boring, a bit dated, and rarely-used in this household.
Once we took stock of what the home had that worked: the beautiful floors and coffered ceiling, adjacent living space, and arched doorways, we could take those items and run with them.
What was not working so well… the color of the coffered ceiling, the broken beverage fridge, and the lack of consistent use for their lifestyle.
The clients priority list: create a beautiful space they can use often!
With that in mind, here is the project moodboard:
Are you ready to see the final space?
I love what I get to do, and I love helping clients capture such beautiful and usable square footage in their homes!
